Whit's End Incursion Project
Dr. Stephen Whitlow Jr.- Current head of the Whit's End program, son of the project's creator. He's worked on the project for almost 25 years and is an expert on Criminal Behaviorism and Virtual Reality Programming. Co-leader of the incursion program, he knows as much or more about Whit's End than anyone alive and outside today.
Dr. Teela Rogers- President of CARP, daughter of the democratic governor of Saskatchewan. Exerted considerable political pull to force the inception of the Whit's End "exposure," as she calls it. A psychologist by profession, she maintains that even if Whit's End does exist, it is cruel and unusual punishment. The other co-leader of the incursion project, she and Whitlow have been fighting like cats and dogs for the past 15 months.
Dr. David Martinez- First scientist that Whitlow and Rogers managed to agree on. A criminal sociologist with two decades of accolades in his field, Martinez is ecstatic about being allowed to view Whit's End firsthand. A word of caution, he may become difficult to safeguard during the project. Should he become carried away by his work, he could wander into unprotected and unsafe areas.
Dr. Chris Rheingold- Youngest scientist on the project, her recent doctorial on "Virtual Psychometrics: Reality Conceptualization in an Imaginary World" earned her a spot on the team. Very enthusiastic but more levelheaded than Martinez, when she's involved in her work she will tend to completely ignore all outside influences.
Dr. James Emerson- Basically chosen by default when Whitlow and Rogers couldn't agree on a fifth scientist, Emerson could be a valuable member of the team if he would just stop hitting on anything female. A specialist in pathological criminal behavior, he can speak at length on any number of horrific crimes and psychoses, and smile while he's doing it. On this trip, he'll probably be in more danger from Dr. Rheingold than from the deviants in the program, she hates him on both a personal and professional level.
