Nothing is known about Matrix's past and little is known about him now. He is in charge of all things relating to the time incursions and usually monitors the details of jumps from the control panel, though he has been known to jump himself. He is happiest when he jumps himself, though his immediate supervisor rarely permits it.

Matrix appears to be cold, calculating and without a nice thought in his head, but nothing could be farther from the truth. He isn't an open sort of person and doesn't make fast friends. When he IS your friend, however, he's loyal, kind and even funny. He has a soft spot for one of the jumpers, Abby, and ofted goes out of his way to protect her.

Matrix's motives are unknown to all but his best friend, Dragon, who just happens to be his immediate supervisor.
